I am so blessed with the best dad in the world. He really is amazing and I can't imagine a better dad out there. He has taught me so many life lessons. And, I really do think of many of them just about every day. One thing he has taught me (which I have absolutely NOT mastered), has been through example. He is one of those people that has the skill to not speak about meaningless things. When he says something in conversation, it is very well thought out and really means something. One thing he told me when I was a teenager, (which might have been a hint) was that it is really a challenge to go throughout an entire day without saying the words, "me", "my", or "I". I don't think he really meant it as advice, but rather a fun challenge. But, I have taken it as advice. My dad has been supportive in every life decision I have made. He is a very open minded person and one of the most compassionate persons I have ever known. I really could go on and on and on, but I don't want to embarrass him. Happy Father's Day Dad.

The next Happy Father's Day goes out to Braegan. He is absolutely the best dad I can imagine raising our children. They LOVE him. I think summer time is their favorite time of year, because they get to spend all of it with Braegan. He takes them out nearly every day to find new parks and splash pads. He teaches them about God and about the world at an age appropriate level. He encourages them to do well in all that they do. He also does the dirty work like bathtime and cleaning up messes when the littlest one doesn't quite make it to the toilet in time. He is simply amazing. Happy Father's Day Braegan.

I've been thinking of you! Hope you are enjoying summer! We are waiting to hear from the Embassy if they will clear us for takeoff. They interviewed our birth mom today - so we are on pins and needles waiting to hear what is next...
Great post Ellen! I totally agree with you.
Love,
Mom
