Still getting caught up....

July was HOT!!!! Braegan was home with the kids, and at times, it was too hot to even go swimming. At the beginning of July, Nati went to stay with Braegan's parents to go to a church camp, which he really enjoyed. We also went to a Texas Rangers game with some of my cousins. We planned on going to Los Alamos, NM at the end of the month to see some of my family, but they had a very large forest fire. Everyone and everything is fine. We ended up doing a stay-cation, which we actually really enjoyed! And... we will get to go to Los Alamos at Christmas time. My kids have never seen the mountains in the winter, so it should be lots of fun. My parents also came up for a few days in the end of July.

For our stay-cation we went to the Ft. Worth Children's Museum, which was an absolute blast. The kids could have stayed there for hours longer. We also went to the Omnimax (different and much better than the IMax) to see a documentary on bugs. Nati and Ada loved it... Claire, not so much. She was clinging to my arm the whole time. We also went to Rainforest Cafe which was really neat. Expensive for average food, but I guess we were paying for the atmosphere. There were robotic elephants and monkeys, and a waterfall. One night we went out for Ethiopian food. Excellent, of course. We also went to a water park, which I did not take any pictures for obvious reasons. I was there to have fun too. :)

All in all, we had a really nice family time.
